It’s that annoying time of year where we have multiple seasons in each day, the pollen begins to fall over everything and so does something else- could it be…SNOW?!
There’s nothing worse than cold weather and snow in March and April when all you want is to permanently hang up the sweaters and break out the sun dresses. This time of year it is definitely hard for me to commit to vintage fashion when most modern sites love to sell poofy 1950s dresses year round.
Lately, I’ve decided to take on a new era to cure my vintage rut. I discovered the Bardot bang and the flare pants and thought maybe the 60s and 70s could get me through the final cold days.
Target is the place to go for that “tissue tee” when you need a sleeve but not thick one, so I stocked up on the round neck, V neck and even turtle neck essential colors. That way, you can tone down or play up a fun print pant like these cropped floral pants from Valfre’. The outfit is so comfortable and casual, yet still unusual enough to not feel like a total vintage traitor! (The scarf that came to match is an added bonus too!)
